I get these Black app icons on my phone
For a few years now I get these Black app icons on my phone. If I delete them, they come back. Anyone know what these are and how to get rid of them?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. It looks like you're running into an issue with black square icons on your Home Screen. I'd be glad to help you get to the bottom of why they appear there.
Which iPhone model are you using and which version of iOS is installed? If you're not sure, you can check by going to Settings > General > About. You mentioned that this has been going on for several years now. Did this begin with any specific event, such as an update or app install, or did it start all by itself?
When attempting to delete the black icons, are you following the steps in How to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and if so, are they removed in the same fashion as listed on the page before returning, or does the removal appear in a different manner than what is shown?
