MacBook Pro 16 inch Screen ghosting and display lag

Is this screen ghosting and lag going to be address and resolved by Apple soon? Or better yet, Apple HAS to fix this issue because it's completely unacceptable!!!😤

I came back to MacBook Pro laptops, after having a 2015 MacBook Pro, and after hearing about the initial great reviews about the 16 inch. But after experiencing this display ghosting/lag myself, I am really disappointed 😔. Coming from the 2015 MacBook Pro I though I was going to get the same fluid, fast, nice and sharp browsing experience I had with my old 2015 Pro, but no. I do allot of internet browsing and scrolling up and down pages, where this issue is the most visible and annoying for me. I din't have this issue on my old 2015 MacBook pro.

From what I understood from other sites and forums this might be a hardware problem with the screen, but hopefully it's a software problem too or only a software problem. And if they cannot fix it completely at least improve it with a macOS patch.

Again, really unacceptable and disappointing.

I came back to MacBook after hearing the initial great reviews about the 16 inch and then only to find this unaccsdsdd

MacBook Pro 16", macOS 10.15

Hello AlxB23,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. It's understandable to be concerned when having display issues with a MacBook where it will not perform as expected. I'll gladly do what I can to help or point you to the right place.

To determine if it is indeed software or a hardware concern, you can try these:

If you're still having issues after those steps, it might be related to hardware as you mentioned, the best thing to do is look into options for service on the Mac: Mac Repair - Official Apple Support

Kind regards.

hey man, I have the same problem as you. My old 15 inch 2016 was very smooth and not nearly as hot as this one. Everything is so laggy and almost unusable, it's really disappointing and unacceptable for a flagship laptop like this tbh, especially it is geared towards professionals who require stability. I don't know how all these reviewers didn't mention this problem.

Hello MoonJ,

Thank you for your reply and for those helpful tips, but I was referring to the wider screen ghosting, lag and slow response times issues, that other macboock pro 16" users are reporting. I don't think this issue is isolated to me. It's been reported on a number of tech sites and forums, like this ones:
