Hiding vs. Removing Photos

When in the Photos app on a MacBook Pro using Catalina OS, what is the difference between "hiding" a photo vs. "remove from album?"

When you remove a photo from an album, the photo will no longer appear in the album, but stay in alll other albums and will still be visible in Photos views Days, Months, Years, All Photos, also in the Media albums.

When you hide a photo, it remains in the album, but is invisible, while it is hidden, in all views.

When you unhide it, it will again be visible in all views, like previously.

If you want to delete a photo completely, so it will be moved to the Recently Deleted album, hold down the command key. Then the "Remove from Album" menu item will change to "Delete" and the photo will be deleted everywhere, not just removed from the album.
