Any Workarounds for Removing Accidental Account Creation for Family Sharing?
I went to create my child an account through Family Sharing. Once I selected the button to finalize the creation of the account, nothing happened and I assumed it didn't work. I selected the button to finish the process again, and this time it told me that the username was already in use. I didn't realize it was referring to the account I just made, since the first time, it gave me no indication of a successful creation and just assumed the first time failed because the name was in use. So I went through the whole process again, making a slightly different account for my child. Then, I realized both attempts worked. I now have 2 accounts in my Family Sharing account for the same child, one that is the real one and one that isn't in use.
Is it true that there is absolutely no way to remove this mistake and that it will be like that until the my child reaches the 13 year age limit for removal? That seems a bit crazy thinking that I'll have to stare at that mistake for 11 more years.
Any workarounds?
