slow typing keyboard

my macbook recently started to type slower.

i have to repeatedly press the keys to get a letter to show up

ive tried restarting the PRVAM and the slow keys thing were you turn it on and off

ive tried cleaning out files

ive also tried updating the software.

please help me! everything else works but the only issue is the keyboard

Keyboard malfunction Hi everyone, I have the MacBook Pro with the Genius Bar. Within the last few weeks my keyboard has been malfunctioning in different ways. For example, When I type the letter "I" it will type it twice, not type it at all or be delayed and insert the letter later on in the word. Additionally, when I type the letters I or O it will randomly insert periods. I have tried cleaning out the keys and I don't want to break it so I haven't removed the keys. Any advice will be appreciated!

MacBook Pro keyboard unresponsive Recently my Mac keyboard stopped working. The trackpad and touch bar are both working but the keyboard is unresponsive. I have tried resetting the SMC and other solutions but none have worked. Oddly, both times I have updated the Mac after it broke the keyboard started working again very briefly. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Run the diagnostics, see if it finds something...How to use Apple Diagnostics on your Mac - Apple Support

If your Mac was introduced before June 2013, it uses Apple Hardware Test instead.
