Lagging Refurbished Macbook Pro.
Hi, I purchased a refurbished Macbook Pro a week ago. It gets lag and freezes everytime I type too fast or open many tabs at once. What should I do? Thank you!!

Which applications exhibit this behavior?
Does this occur for a different user, e.g., Guest? How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac.
Does this occur after starting up in Safe Mode?
Consider the possibility of a third party software conflict. EtreCheck can be used to investigate what is installed.

Hi! Thank you for this. I tried to do this and the Mac did get faster, but not for long. I have to do this reset thing everytime I turn on the Mac. I'm not sure if there is any permanent solution rather than this one.
Thank you!
I agree with @fyip. Unless you purchased the refurb directly from Apple, then you should definitely backup the computer and erase the physical drive and reinstall macOS if you haven't done so since you acquired the laptop. You never know what the previous owner did to the software on the system. If you migrate your data from a backup, then do not migrate any apps or settings just to be safe since you don't want to migrate any settings from the previous owner.

Maybe you should reinstall the OS
Mostly Safari and Chrome. I also tried Guest and Safe Mode but it was even worse.
I purchased the refurb Mac directly from Apple Refurbished Website. But I will try to reinstall the Mac to see if it will help.
