MacBook Pro 2017 - Black horizontal lines on top of display / screen

Hi, I’ve already tried the steps below to solve this problem with no success:


- Reset the System Management Controller (SMC).

- Reset NVRAM.

- Update Mac OS High Sierra to Mac OS Catalina

- Logon at safe mode


Further Information:

- I have no Chrome browser installed.

- No external monitor.

- No external devices connected.

- This problem happens in any application and desktop.

- I have no Adobe family software installed.

- It happens both using battery and power adapter.

- This problem also happened with MacOS High Sierra (10.13.2) 


I would like to know from Apple about recall program…

Apple is not here on these forums. This is just a user to user forum where other users help each other out. If you want an official Apple answer, then you need to take the laptop to an Apple Store or an AASP to be examined. Issues such as this usually require a first hand examination in person to determine the source of the problem.
