Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, georgeny!

I understand you're having issues maintaining a connection between your Fitbit and your iPhone. I'd be happy to provide information to help you troubleshoot this.

Try unpairing and then pairing your Fitbit: Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Any specific troubleshooting would have to be addressed with Fitbit.

Have a great day!

ryane77,

Thank you for your reply. Trust that I have tried numerous fixes, reboots, re-downloads, etc, etc, to no avail. Not my first rodeo. This, to me, is an obvious software bug either on apple or fitbit side. This situation has appeared online at various time frames in past. It is not all that unusual that bluetooth problems occur after updates and cause disconnect or shutdowns. Once again I believe this will be a mandated wit until some update repairs it somewhere. One must wonder that now that google owns fitbit if they will properly support the software. No idea what google plans for fitbit or nest or whatever they buy to disassemble or whatever next.

I could only wish this was a simple unpair and re-pair situation.

Thanks for the thought.
