Since whatsapp can’t really answer my problem. I’ll try it here. Is there anyone who is experiencing some notification problem on whatsapp since updating to ios 13? I’ve been appearing as “offline” even if i have my mobile data on. Messages won’t come through unless i open whatsapp itself. Please help. It’s been going for a month now.

The only thing I can think of is making sure that you have background refresh turned on. Go to Settings>General>Background app refresh. Toggle on WhatsApp. If this is already on, it is WhatsApp's problem.

Contact WhatsApp support. They would need to release an update to fix this. If their support isn't helpful, somewhere in the settings there should be an option to report bugs.
Yes everything is turned on. Background refresh and sounds. I don't know what to do anymore. I already did a full reset, still the problem persist.
