MacBook Air mid 2011

I recently dusted off this old mid 2011 MacBook Air to give to my daughter. It’s currently running on Yosemite. When I tried to download Catalina I discovered that OS is not compatible. What is the latest OS that is compatible?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download High Sierra.
