setup new iphone without the photos from old phone

i want to set up my new iphone but want to only transfer contacts, notes and messages, apps etc.

NOT THE PHOTOS and VIDEOS.

any way of just setting up new iphone without the old iphone's photos & videos?

Create an iCloud backup, but deselect the things you don't want. In Settings, tap on your name at the top. Tap iCloud. Deselect all the apps you don't want to be transferred over (like photos). Tap iCloud backup, and then tap back up now.
