Notes Font - Once Color Changes, White/Black Won't Inverse

Hello Everyone,

Running MacOS10.14.6 (Mojave) on a 2010 Mac Pro 6-Core. Using Notes version 4.6 (build 879.30).

When switching from dark to light mode or the reverse, white fonts change to black and black changes to white. However, when I change the font inside a table to some other color, and then change it back to white or black, it no longer reverses color. Black in light mode stays black in dark mode. I see no way to revert to default color text inside the table.

I have many tables and do not want to have to recreate tables and then paste using "Paste and Match Style." I cannot even do it row by row because cells will merge. As an interim fix, I had to change the fonts to yellow (I use all other standard colors to flag parts of the table information). But then in Light Mode, it becomes hard to see. I hope Apple puts in a "Default Color" on the Font Color menu - I am going to send in a bug report to Apple. In the meantime, does anyone know of any fixes?

Hello Everyone,

Please disregard the above. I took too long to modify and it will now no longer allow editing.

Here is what I wanted to post...

Running MacOS10.14.6 (Mojave) on a 2010 Mac Pro 6-Core and iOS 13.2.3 on an iPad Pro (9.7-inch). Using Notes version 4.6 (build 879.30) on the Mac Pro.

The computer version of Notes changes fonts from white to black and black to white when switching to and from Dark Mode. However, on the iPad, once the font color was changed, it no longer switches white/black font colors. When I use white on the computer in Dark Mode, it shows up as black in Dark Mode on the iPad.

If I use Copy and Paste and Match Style on a new Note, the font goes back to normal and changes color appropriately for Dark and Light Mode.

This appears to be a bug and I will send in a bug report; however, does anyone know of a way to revert to the default font color without recreating the pages? I use the Tables function a lot and when I cut and paste to a new page, the tables go away. And then I would not be able to change the font color any more (I use other colors as flags that change status often).

I appreciate any help.
