items' Cloud status is both 'Removed' and 'Matched/Uploaded' with the Download icon

I have my Music.app Library on an external drive on my home network. I also have said Library synced to iCloud (FANTASTIC option!) While using Music yesterday there was a brief power outage. I got involved with rectifying that and forgot I'd been playing music. Later, well after power was restored I thought to play some and went to Music. I frequently add a ripped CD and keep the columns for 'Cloud Status' and 'Download' within view. All tracks were doubled. One of each track shows 'Removed' in the Cloud Status column (I did not delete them!) and the other shows 'Matched' or 'Uploaded', and has the Download icon in the Download column.

More, looking at the Bitrate column, if it was a track that is marked Uploaded it is now a lossy AAC file. If it's Matched it is still the original ALAC.

I'm talking about almost a Terabyte of tunes. I do not want to start over creating my Library.

Any insight/help?
