Randy, thanks for your response and sorry for my rather obtuse question....I'll try again. I have no problem switching between the 'grid' and the 'list' view of APP icons on my Apple Watch (the actual device on my wrist!) ...however, when using the iPhone Watch APP and going to "My Watch' then selecting the 'APP Layout" I can only get the 'grid' view of the APPs. I don't know how to switch that grid view to a 'list' view similar to the one on the actual watch. Probably no big deal but just an annoyance and frustrated by my own Apple ignorance.
Thanks for any helpful inputs to include 'don't worry about it and move on' !!

The app layout on the phone is just for the "icon" view,there is NO way to edit the list view,they are in alphabetical order by default.
