Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Hello. When I select a movie on disney plus or netflix my screen turns black with sound for the beginning of the movie for about 10 seconds. Then it turns on correctly. I have a LG C9 tv going through a denon receiver. All my cables are compatible with 4k. Is this a setting or something that could be causing this for the delayed video?

Try detaching the HDMI cables (on both ends), then connect again. That would have the devices do an “HDMI handshake” all over, which includes HDCP key exchange. If HDCP was the issue, then this would most likely solve it.

Does it matter if I do this while the device is on or off?
For devices that I have worked with, it could be done with them being powered.
