On your iPhone:

Rid of the Account:

1. Go To: Settings
2. Tap: Passwords & Accounts
3. Scroll to: ACCOUNTS
4. Tap: This Hotmail account
5. Tap: "Delete Account" (centered on the very bottom)
6. Confirm by: taping "Delete from My iPhone."

Use an App Password with Hotmail?

A. Go to: login.live.com

B. While in Hotmail, Go To:

1. Tap: "User Name" (Top-Right)
2. Tap: "View account" (Second Option Down)
3. Tap: "Security" (third tap in from top-left)
4. Tap: "More security options" (Far-Right)
5. Tap: "App passwords" (Third Pane Down)
6. Tap: "Create a new app password"
7. Tap: "Click Done"
8. Use the app password provided for a synchronized app

Remove then Add this Account Back:

Rid your iPhone of this Hotmail Account, then add it back. All would sync anew.
