How do I delete an @icloud.com email address that's NOT listed as an alias. I was given that email address in 2012 in addition to my email, but now its getting spammed and I want to delete it. Thanks!

You can't unless you delete the entire Apple ID its part of.
If the iCloud address is not an Alias, then its an Apple ID in and of its own. you would need to delete it entirely, you cannot delete just the email account, and with it you would be losing access to any and all purchases tied to it, and all content in its iCloud account.
Best bet, is to create rules to manage the junk and spam. You can do so from the Mail app settings at https://www.icloud.com
