sim card not supported. so how do i find out the carrier of my phone. i bought it on ebay and the listing said it was an at&t phone, but i went to at&t and they said its not an at&t phone cause my at&t sims card wont work.

Call Apple and give them the serial number.
Though if the seller said it was an AT&T phone and it doesn't work with AT&T, I don't see why you would bother. Return it and get your money back. The seller lied.
