iPhone Hotspot says No internet connection

Hi all since the update when I try and tether my iPad to my iPhone XS it says no internet connection in orange letters !! Yet I’m on the internet on my iPhone posting this messsge , it never did this before the update is there a solution ? I have reset network settings , is it a carrier issue ?

Personal Hotspot not working My iphone 6 personal hotspot feature was working correctly to connect my ipad to the internet. I was on the EE network. But now I have just transferred to Vodafone it does not work. The ipad connects to the iphone hotspot but says there is no internet connection, although the internet is working OK on the iphone. I have contacted the phone company but they say they cannot fix it and it is a problem with the iphone. Anyone any ideas?

iPhone hotspot Yesterday I tried to use my iPhone’s (xr) internet on my iPad through hotspot At first the ipad (pro 2018) could find my iphone in wifi list but it couldn’t connect to it and had this “unable to join” error after I tried reseting network settings on iphone and restarting the phone, finally it connected but the problem now was that I had internet connection on ipad and it worked well, but internet was not working on iphone anymore though at the same time everything was fine on the ipad I have used hotspot on my iphone before and didn’t have this problem and I had internet on both my phone and the device connected to it
