Wrong payment

My purchase history does not show the deduction I just saw on my account from iTunes

You've looked at the purchase histories of all iTunes accounts linked to the card, could it be an authorisation hold : If you see 'itunes.com/bill' or an unfamiliar charge on your statement - Apple Support ?
