My sons I pad asks for his Apple ID every morning? Is this new? Can it be changed

apple id anyone know how to stop the iPhone from asking for an apple id? My apple id is listed however a menu keeps popping up asking me to sign into my son's apple id and I do not know his password and don't need it on my phone. I hit cancel (seems like a million times) but the apple id keeps showing up

Some people have fixed this by signing out of iCloud, restarting the device, and then signing back in. That hasn't worked for everyone.
