should I upgrade my iMac from Mojave to Catalina?

Do I/Should I upgrade my iMac from Mojave to Catalina. System works fine as is, just curious if Mojave is being phased out and Catalina is going to replace it sooner or later

I upgraded mine... I received it last week with Mojave although it was a 2019 unit. I upgraded to 10.15.2 and have not had any issues. There is a utility that will tell you if you have any apps that are not compatible. Go to "About this Mac" by clicking the Apple Logo in your menu bar. Then click System Report. Under Software click on Applications. One of the columns is whether or not the app is 64 bit. If you click it you can even group the "no" items together. Those will not be compatible and you can check with the vendor to determine if a 64 bit version is available.
