Wallpaper cutting off on top

I set a photo as my wallpaper and it’s being cut off on the top. I tried resizing the photo, setting my wallpaper as something else and then going back... it looks normal as my lock screen but my home screen is messed up.

Hello, Reese2516.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

From what I've read is that the top part of your wallpaper is being cut off in the Home Screen. You mentioned that you switched wallpapers, did the other wallpaper have the same issue or is it just this one specifically?

I would check to see if this happens with Still, Live, and Dynamic wallpapers. Is this a photo you've taken or is this a downloaded photo?

I'd also suggest to restart your iPhone. Sometimes a restart can help resolve issues.

Let me know and we'll go from there.

Cheers!

My phone was doing the exact same thing. I fixed it by making sure the image is the right format and the right dimensions. Make sure you're using a JPEG image. I was using a PNG image and it was messing up. Also, I resized my image to my display's resolution. I was using an iPhone 7 Plus, so I resized my image to 1080x1920 and everything worked perfectly.
