Green line on top left corner

I bought iphone x in the November 2017. In past few days i see green lines appearing on the left top corner. Near the camera. The screen becomes greenish color. But my warranty has expired! I didn’t do anything, no water damage, no falling damage. What should i do? These are not vertial lines.

We can't diagnose that kind of issue remotely, sorry.

You should make an appointment at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider and have your X inspected. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options:--> Apple – Location Selector

I did take it to the service center. They simply told me that it’s a hardware problem. On enquiring further they told me that they are aware of the problem. The screen needs to be replaced. It will cost me rs 21600. That’s roughly $310. Had it been in warranty they would have replaced it for free. The phone was neither dropped nor was it water damaged. I am left with no option. That’s just a very expensive bill for no fault of mine. So much for a premium product!
