Lightroom Won't Open

When selected, it flashes, but doesn't do anything else.

When I try to uninstall it, I get "The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version ...."

Anyway around this?

Lightroom 6 (64 bit app) Incompatibility Warning in Mojave There was a previous similar thread, where replies stopped in early 2019; is there maybe some new insights around this Lightroom 6.13 - Mojave compatibility thing? Lightroom 5.7.1 and Big Sur I have just upgraded to Big Sur and now see that the "info overlay" in the develop module is white instead of transparent. Has anyone else seen this problem. Is it time to ditch Lightroom 5? thanks

Did you recently Update to 10.15 Catalina?
