After charging to 100% ipad worked for a few minutes then went to black screen i tried the two button reboot but nothing happened. does this mean I have to go to a repair shop?

However, before you go, you can try restoring your iPad. To restore your iPad, connect it to your computer. When the iPad
appears in the iTunes source list, click the Restore button on the Summary tab. (Note: A Restore will erase all of your data and media and resets all of the iPad's settings. You will need to restore your data from a previous backup from either Finder/iTunes or iCloud.)
