Power button is stuck

My iPhone 7+’s power button is stuck. Might it help if I try and gently brush it with isopropyl alcohol in order to remove any dirt inside the gaps around the button? Or, could that damage the phone?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 13

No, I don’t know how to do that. All I can do is rephrase:

D o not use isopropyl alcohol on your iPhone.

That may well damage the iPhone further.

Visit an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center. Let them assess the iPhone and advise you how to proceed.

Thanks @sberman but could you be more specific please? I gather isopropyl alcohol harms the screen coating but I would only use it on the button.
