disk utility from recovery says disk ok but still not rebooting

I got a blinking folder with a question mark. So I did the following steps:

1. Boot up in recovery
2. At recovery, did a disk utility first aid.
3. First aid found no problems with disk.
4. But when I restart, same problem.

Any leads to the culprit and possible solutions? Thanks!
