iMessage waiting for activation

iMessage is not working. Keeps saying "waiting for activation." I cannot even end a regular (non-message text). I've turned off iMessage and Face time. done a hard reset and tried to turn them back on. iOS 13.3

iMessage stuck 'waiting for activation' following iOS 13.0 update Since updating my iPhone to iOS 13.0, iMessage doesn't work. It says 'Waiting for activation'. FaceTime's doing the same thing. I've tried switching iMessage and FaceTime off and then on again, Airplane Mode on/off, logging out of iCloud and logging back in, switching the phone off and then on, removing and replacing the SIM card, and doing all of those things together. And I've updated my APN settings. I've also tried waiting, as Apple says it can take up to 24 hours to activate (though I doubt it does take that long). Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

iMessage activation unsuccessful does anyone know how to fix their i phone when it says "activation unsuccessful" when trying to turn their iMessage on? because out of no where my i message stoped working. my face time started calling using my email which i don't like and my iMessage sent as green texts. so i rest my phone and its still the same and now it wont let me log onto i message of face time using my apple ID :/ and its been like this for a while i don't know if this made sense but i know A LOT of people have gone through this same issue:/

Messages Troubleshooting

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Try a forced restart.
