Too many processes every couple of hours

After updating successfully to osX catalina, my macBookPro Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015 crashing **all** open apps and refuses to open new ones.

When trying to open new terminal tab i get the massage `too many processes already running`.

I tried increasing my maxproc and maxfiles limit:

$launchctl limit maxproc
	maxproc 2048 2048
$launchctl limit maxfiles
	maxfiles 65536 200000

After a restart everything works fine again, until the next crush.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

You have a lot of system modifications running. A lot of system modifications don't play well with upgrades and need to be updated.

I can't see anything in the report that points to any one of them causing problems, though.

What can happen is a process fails to start and it is automatically restarted, over and over.

Watching Activity Monitor (AM) for processes that have large process IDs (PID) that are constantly changing might hint at that problem.

It seems like perhaps something is constantly opening files and never closing them. This could be a function of the above.

I'm not sure what to look for in AM to identify something like that.
