2-step or 2-factor?
2-factor cannot be turned off if it's more than 2 weeks since you created the account:
Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support
2-step can be turned off, follow the steps here:
Switch from two-step verification to two-factor authentication - Apple Support

I thank you.

Are you talking about the Safari menubar dropdowns >FIle>Edit, etc? The only way I know how to do that is to go Fullscreen.
No-the menus that drop down whenever I use the cursor any page and press the left mouse button.
They try to be helpful but really all it does ius slow the process down
Doug
If you control - click, do you see the same menu? You may need to reset what your left mouse button does to get rid of the menus.
Don't right-click or turn off right-click (secondary-click) in preferences and use control-click when you need a menu instead.
Thank you
Works as I wanted
Many thanks
Can you solve two step authentication-like turn it off?
Doug
You're welcome.
