error message when trying to update iPhone 7 iOS from iMac iTunes

I'm trying to update the iOS on my iPhone 7 from my iMac iTunes. I keep getting an error message telling my it was unable to complete the update , with an error message (14). I've tried clicking on More Info, but I don't get much information or help there. I'm unable to use my phone right now, and don't want to restore my phone if I can find a workaround.

Unable to update IOS through Itunes on windows I've been trying to update to the current IOS update (14.6) through itunes. It recognizes that there's a new update and asks me if I want to update to the current IOS. Itunes goes through the normal procedure though. It does download, however I always get an error code that even Apple does not have a known code/solution for it; the error message is "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (4000)." I've tried keeping my phone unlocked like some people have suggested. Although I've tried all the suggestions and none of them have worked. I tried on another computer, still the same thing. I've reinstalled Itunes multiple times. I'd rather go through Itunes on PC because it's much faster than downloading over wifi.

iOS 13 update failed with error 14 I update iTunes on my Mac to 12.8.2.3, then I tried to update my iPhone to iOS 13. I got an error 14 couldn't update the iPhone. I did the following 1) restarted my laptop 2) restarted the phone 3) ensured I am using an Apple usb cable 4) used a different usb port on my laptop What else can I try Thanks

Updated iPhone XS max I updated my phone, I’m trying to connect it to iTunes on my new pc, it says error message as well
