macOS Catalina 10.15.2 Messages Not Working

After updating to macOS Catalina 10.15.2 the messages app has ceased to work.

It is there, it looks normal, the last message before update is there, just no new ones.

Messages App not working on MacBook Pro I am unable to use the Messages app on my MacBook Pro. The app is crashing whenever I open it using my Apple ID and Password.
