New Apple Watch Series 4 - 12 hour update

Hi,

Just got an Apple Watch Series 4.

First update to 5.3.4

Started at 2 days, but seems to have settled at hovering between 12 & 11 hours for the last 30 minutes.

Good internet connection (although am I led to believe this uses Bluetooth?).

Progress bar is about a fifth done, still 'Downloading to Watch'.

Any advice on how to speed this up?

Thanks!

Ok here's a suggestion firstly I would force reset the watch;

To force reset your Apple Watch, press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.

And then go here and complete all the steps,it's possible you might have missed something;

Has the watch 4 been removed from the icloud account it was on before you bought it?.If not it could be activation locked to the phone it was originally set up with before you bought it.
