Can someone help me restore my kindle app

Hi,

I just got a new iPad iPad 10.2 and I’m trying to restore my kindle app and it’s not working...it tells me it’s loading it’s been like this for about 4 hours or so...it said that if I delete it it will I save my data/books is that true??? I don’t wanna lose my books

You can’t lose your books. They’re tied to your account. The worst that can happen is that you have to download them again.
