Kindle App Crashing on IPAD

My Kindle App keeps crashing on my IPAD. If I delete the App, will all of my books be deleted?

If so, how can this problem be resolved?

Hi there,

The first tip I would suggest is to restart the iPad and then try seeing if the Kindle app still crashes. If the app still crashes after a restart, try deleting and reinstalling the app. If there are more apps crashing on your iPad, apart from the Kindle one, I would suggest checking your iPad’s capabilities. The apps data should also sync back when you sign in to the account again.

Hope this helps😄

Deleting an App from your iPad will also delete all associated data - in this case, your locally stored Books Library. However, after reinstalling the Books App, you can again download your Books; those that have been purchased will be available to re-download at no cost.

Instead of deleting the App, you can instead Offload the App. This process simply removes the App - but leaves all associated data untouched. More information about Offloading Apps can be found here:
