My finder keeps converting all PNG files into JPG when dropped into the Download folder. Is there anyway to stop this.
Before this I was meddling with Automator to convert HEIC to JPG on the Finder. But I've already tried to undo this and remove the files created from Automator. I've even tried to reset my Finder by deleting the plist file. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

Right-click on your Downloads folder, and from the Services menu, click on the Folder Actions Setup… menu item. Uncheck anything acting on your Downloads folder. Additionally, your Quick Actions are stored in /Users/$USER/Library/Services folder.

I have cleared /Users/$USER/Library/Services folder before and the problem still persist, but unchecking the Workflow on Folder Actions Setup helped! It's all good now, thank you so much!
Good. No need to clear the Services folder, only just concentrate on what service is assigned to a specific folder in the Folder Actions Setup panel.
