Ipod 7generation won't let me use facetime

Unable to use brand new 7th generation ipod and can't use facetime or message. Have YouTube and searched Google..unable to get it to work.

facetime unavailable I have an Iphone 8, 13, and newer Ipad. I am no longer able to facetime between devices. For example, I might be trying to facetime between the Iphone 8 and 13. The caller receives a message which provides "facetime unavailable" and the receiver receives a message "facetime failed". All devices are using the same IOS version. I never had a problem until a few weeks ago. I have done all the steps I can find online and on Apple but no luck. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Red901
