I get this message when backing up to MyCloud from WD - "Time Machine could not delete the backup disk image “/Volumes/com.apple.TimeMachine.TimeMachineBackup-/MacBook Pro (10).sparsebundle”. Help?

Time Machine is trying to delete the old backup file on the Time Machine/Time Capsule

because it has detected that it is corrupted, but it cannot complete the operation.


I suspect your drive has become corrupt— you can reformat the drive and see if that fixes it— then start a new backup.
