Using an Apple watch with Iphone SE

Dear all,

Today I bought a second hand Apple watch 2 to use with my corporate mobile Iphone SE. After several unsuccessful connection trials I realized that the watchos 6 is not compitable with ios 12.4 which is the latest ios version of SE.

I’m trying to find a way to connect the watch to SE. Is there any way to downgrade watchos back to 5, some other solution to connect devices?

Can you get the Apple Watch series 3 to lose watchOS 6? I have an iPhone 6 and just bought an Apple Watch series 3 for it, since everything online had been saying my phone could pair to it. Then I get the watch only to find out that the watch can get updated to watchOS 6 and if it does my phone can’t pair to it. The watch I got came with the update already installed, so now I can’t connect to it. Is there anyway to downgrade the watch to watchOS 5?

An iphone se can update to ios13.
