Procreate
I tried to go and buy procreate on my ipad. It wouldn’t allow me to press the purchase button, I have the update that is required and my payment method is up to date

I’ll start with a [perhaps] un-obvious question. Is you iPad running iPadOS 13.2 or later? If not, this is the reason that you cannot download Procreate.
With release of Procreate 5, the App now requires iPadOS 13.2 as a minimum. All downloadable binaries for earlier versions have been removed, by the developer, from the App Store.
If you are running the minimum version, or later, then something else is the cause.
