Hi adela32,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I see you're having an issue with making a computer backup for your iPhone, and I'd like to help.

If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod has some basic steps, along with some specific steps for a Mac or Windows PC.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch also shows how to use iCloud to back up your iPhone.

Use Quick Start to transfer data from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is another method to transfer data from one iPhone to another.

Take care!
