I have an Apple Music account with family sharing turned on for my wife. When I stream music from my iPhone XR or iPad Pro to the HomePods the lyrics of the song icon will grey out and the are not available on the device I am attempting to stream from. Yet...when my wife streams from her iPhone XR to the HomePods her lyrics icon does NOT grey out and she can see the lyrics on her iPhone.

Is there a setting on my devices that needs adjusted to allow seeing lyrics when streaming music to the HomePods?

This might be an issue with the music app on your phone.

If the Music App isn’t responding

Make sure your iOS software is up to date

Close the music app- How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT201330
in Settings- General - Reset - Reset Network Settings
Restart your iOS device (until the Apple logo appears)
