Controls for Audio FX

a lot of my controls on audio fx aren't showing up. For example, I am trying to use sidechain compression from one channel to another, but the feature to do that is not there. Is there something that I don't have installed or not turned on?

Did you activate the advanced tools in Menu Logic Pro X > Preferences > Advanced ?
