I connected my ipad pro to my macbook pro via usb-c on both ends in order to listen to sound produced in the ipad to be played and edited on the mac. Even though it shows as if the connexion is made, sound does not get played. Midi is fine. Help?

I don't get it. Why Usb-A to macbook? My computer has only Usb-C ins.

This wiring setup would work for this task:

Most USB audio interfaces use a USB-A port not USB-C so you will need a USB-A to USB-C adapter.
