New iphone

is there a way to keep all of the photos and messages on the old iPhone. I signed into my new iPhone and it downloaded all of my old pictures on my new phone, where I don’t want them. Can I delete them from my new phone but keep them on the old?

Using Iphone I just got a new iPhone and have already transferred all my info from my other phone. But the pictures that transferred from my old phone I don’t want in my new phone. If I delete them from the new phone will they also delete from the old phone ?

My old iphone synced and copied all my stuff from my new phone So I was trying to recover some old photos from my old iPhone and transfer it to my new phone that I’ve had for about a year now and I have new phones and messages on it. We’ll I forgot to do a Icloud back up on it and it told me to log into my iCloud in order for me to access current photos but once I input my iCloud my photos and messages from my new phone started to pop up on my old one and now all my photos are gone from my old phone. Is there a way to get them back, I need them asap!

Turn off iCloud Photos syncing in Settings/Your Name/iCloud before deleting the photos from the new phone. You should then be able to safely delete them and leave them on the other phone.
