Photos Application problems after upgrading to MacOS Catalina

After upgrading to MacOS Catalina I have been having the following problems with Photos.

Its obvious Apple hasn't performed much testing with the Photos App on OSX Catalina and have deployed Photos for Beta Testing to the public. It seems they are following in Microsoft's footsteps these days. I'm very disappointed with the latest release, shame on Apple.

  1. Some photos appear completely Black or White. The originals appear to have been overwritten. When syncing IOS Devices, the original photos on the iOS devices are also overwritten with the completely White or Black versions. I have not been able to find a way to get back the original raw Photos.
  2. Export Photo(s), Edit with Preview and Drag and Drop Photos fails with some "older photos", but not recent photos. Fails when right-click context menu on Photo > Open in Preview - Error Dialog, File Menu > Export Photos - Unknown Error (4) or Drag and Drop photos - silently fails with errors in the Console Log only.
  3. File Menu > Show Referenced File in Finder is always "greyed" out. This is such a basic Feature that is heavily used in my workflows. The Show Location in Finder should be added to the right-click context menu of any photo in the Library. Not fixing this bug and feature once removed from iPhoto is reason enough to switch to another Photo Library management Application.

I have iCloud disabled as I don't trust Apple holding copies of my data.

Drag and Drop Photo to Finder Folder (not error dialog, operation just silently fails). Console logs from the Drag and Drop operation appear below.

Export Photo - Unknown Error(4) - Useless. Clicking in Revel in Finder does nothing
