When you reset your statistics on your iPhone what does it do?

It puts the "Call Time" "Current Period" back to Zero, and the Data used for the apps listed under System Services also to Zero

The "Cellular Data" "Current Period" goes to Zero also. Then everything starts counting over.

But be aware it will not match your billing cycle so the best time to reset is on the day your billing cycle starts.

"Reset Statistics" Option in Cellular:

It resets cellular statistics, allowing you note your current usage of cellular services. Cellular statistics will be set in a new timeframe. It has no affect, whatsoever, on your Data or phone content.


Such Usage Includes:

  • Total Data Consumed
  • Individual App Statistics
  • System Servies
  • Total Call Time
