Hi there. My macbook air was stolen and the police need my serial number. When I log into appleid.apple, only the last few digits show up. I do not have a receipt or box from 2013 purchase, sadly. Is there something you can do to help?

Sometimes if you've bought an Apple product the details should be in their system.
This may have changed in the past few years but there used to be a way to see your
products and their serial numbers. The page Get Support (when logged into Apple)
still shows stuff; only a far as warranty or service options, usually.
Listed products associated with your Apple ID (login) & serial numbers should appear.
However you may also contact Apple support directly ~ to ask for help.
