Keyboard marks on the screen of the MacBook Pro 13.3 2019

I recently bought a macbook pro 13.3 2019 and two weeks later found traces of the space bar on the screen, while the traces are erased, but I'm afraid that further scratches will appear on these Mets. This is how it is fixed in the official Apple service ?

After holiday sales include silicone keyboard protectors that are thin.

Because these sell quickly, more often are online and limited inventory.

The idea of closing the display lid over a cloth, is that can solve the issue

of having key imprints on the screen; however indicated by above reply

this in itself offers no prevention from end-user cause. My mac portables

have retained their displays without damage, including my iBook G4 and

first MacBook1.1 13-inch model. The iBook, bought in 2005 remains great.

Bought iBook a silicone keyboard protector when new; & neo-case too.

These early model iMac & iBook used TFT 'soft displays' subject to damage.

My newer MacBook Pro mid-2012 13-inch 2.5GHz core-duo 9.2 has durable display

after years of careful usage, still looks good and all the pixels look fine. I've seen

some bad things happen to a few macs including portables of various vintage.

Glad 'crynay' replied with good details and observations; I'm also observant to detail.

Keyboard marks are usually due to pressure on screen. This is not just Macbook, I also see it on my friend's Asus and Lenovo laptops. Try to find a screen saver or avoid doing these things:

-carrying it like a book with one hand and squeezing the keyboard and screen together too hard. Carry from the bottom like a plate instead.

-putting heavy objects on the screen when it's closed like cups, dishes, or books. Don't put anything on top.

-putting it in between books or papers in a tight bag or backpack. Carry it on its own or don't pack so many things in the same bag.

My friends say they never do any of those things, but I always see them doing it without realizing it. Then I explain that if it didn't have those marks when it was new in a box, it's not a manufacturing problem because they don't appear on its own.
